Here are some photos from later March along with a trip out East with Nati and Henry.

Here's a shot of Henry and I hanging out after he got back from Phoenix.

Skiing with Rowley at Kenny's

Full size
It turned out to be a brilliant day to be out for a tour as I showed Rowley around Kenny's Ridge, a sweet powder
spot in K-country.

Full size
After dealing with a bit of trail rage from some folks already there who thought they owned the place, Rowley and I
still had a great day and enjoyed ourselves. Here's Rowls enjoying lunch.

Full size
The snow was still so deep and soft that when Rowley stepped off his skis, he buried himself to his hips.

Full size
This is the grin that tells you that you've been rewarded for some skinning with untouched beautiful deep powder. Yummy!

Visiting Danielle and baby Kale

Full size
We took a drive up to Red Deer to meet our new nephew - Kale Bruce Everson. Here's Natalia with Kale.

Full size
Danielle, Henry, and Landon, who was home sick, with what turns out to be hand, foot, and mouth disease. Boo on that!

Full size
I think this photo is hysterical since it shows three sizes of baby - small, medium, large - Kale at 6 days old,
Henry at 3.5 months, and Landon at 20 months.

Avie comes to visit

Full size
Our friend Avie made the trip to see us in Cochrane. Here she is spending time with Henry and helping out.

Full size
My sisters gave Henry an Exersaucer that it turns out he loves. It's almost like he's in his 'office' when
he's hanging out in here.

Full size
Once the initial shock went away, Henry really relaxed in the hot water - similar to his mother.

Full size
Even in April, there is still definitely snow on the mountains, if not really in town too much.

Full size
This guy will be a fish for sure.

Full size
Even daddy got to hold him too.

The Chiefs' CEHL championships

Full size
I gave my camera to one of my teammates' sons and after deleting ~600 photos, I was left with a couple that
were both in focus and were actually of our team. I think this is Russ in warmups.

Full size
Our boys taking on the Dark. We won this game, but lost the eventual A final in a shootout.

Full size
Our defensive posture. It's too bad we didn't get a photo of the 1-4 line-up we showed off in the last game
of the round-robin. It was dynamite.

Full size
This is Joe when his ankle still worked. A bit of a sprain put him out of the line-up for the final.

Full size
A couple more action shots.

Full size
A great tournament, but one more loss means we have to say the words that Leafs fans everywhere know - "Wait until next season."

Visiting the East Coast

Full size
Since I had a work conference in Boston, Natalia and Henry came along for the ride. Here's Nati and Henry hanging out in
the Maple Leaf Lounge in Calgary. After a 3/10 and a 1/10 flights, we got to Boston. This may rank as the worst work
travel I've ever done, so here's hoping it's never repeated.

Full size
Henry destroyed us so badly on the travel into Boston that we gave up on dinner out and had room service. At least Natalia
got a nice dessert!

Full size
Here's Henry hanging out on our bed at the Westin Waterfront. Nice hotel actually.

Full size
Natalia took Henry touring Boston since I was working all week. Here he is at the Aquarium.

Full size
Here is Henry enjoying the penguins. Apparently, he was mesmerized. I think he's trying to sort out which one
is Sidney and why his dad cheers for them.

Full size
Henry and some brain coral.

Full size
I think he's trying to touch it here.

Henry and a sea turtle.

Henry a big fish tail, "Daddy, it was THIS big!"

Full size
Next, Natalia took Henry on the duck boats, an amphibious tour of Boston. Here's Nati on the duck boat.
Henry slept through most of it.

Full size
Here's Henry looking out on the Charles River.

Natalia, Henry, and I in NYC

Full size
Since Boston is so close to NYC, I thought I'd show off this great city to my wife and son. Of course, I forgot
that when I used to drive it, I did it at night, with no screaming child. That late ~4 hour drive I used to do from
Boston turned into a challenging 6.5 hours, complete with disaster on I-95 that shut down the highway and bumper-to-bumper
crawl through Manhattan at rush hour. Awesome. We still decided to take a walk to Times Square once we got settled into
our hotel. Here's Henry and I getting dressed.

Full size
Henry and I at Times Square.

Full size
It really is a pretty awesome place just about any time of day or night, but we went later in the evening.

Full size
This was also Natalia's first time in New York. She thought Times Square was 'pretty awesome, but loud.'

Full size
On day 2 (after a bit better night than the screaming fest the night before), we decided to take Henry
for a ride through the subway. Here he is getting on at Times Square, heading south to lower Manhattan.

Full size
You can't see it, but Henry's actually wearing his tie one-sie here on as he poses with the
bull of Wall Street.

Full size
Trinity Church in lower Manhattan.

Full size
After wandering near the 9-11 memorial, and seeing the new building for the old World Trade Centre, we decided
to take the Staten Island ferry to look around. Natalia found a pretzel with cheese sauce and was SUPER STOKED!
She had previously found one at the NY, NY casino in Vegas, so it was only fitting to find one here.

Full size
Natalia with a view to lower Manhattan. The skyline is always beautiful to me.

Full size
Natalia got to see the statue of Liberty.

Full size
I always forget how far Staten Island is from Manhattan.

Full size
Our family loving the sun on Staten Island, NY - 11 April 2014.

Full size
Henry seems to really like fish. Here he is enjoying an aquarium at the waiting area for our return trip from
Staten Island. Side note - this trip is totally free and is a GREAT thing to do while hanging in New York. With a nice
view of the Statue of Liberty, Manhattan, Brooklyn, and New Jersey, it's a nice way to spend a sunny afternoon.

Full size
A different skyline than the last time I took this ferry. Here's that photo from 2001 HERE

Full size
After touring through Chinatown (Natalia bought a bunch of scarves), we decided to have dinner in Little Italy.
Here are Henry and I on Mulberry St.

Full size
OK, if Henry hadn't been sleeping on Wall St, I totally wanted his photo in his 'business outfit' with the Roaring Bull.
Here's our little cutie making friends at dinner in Little Italy.

Full size
Natalia had lobster ravioli and LOVED it! Best ravioli she's ever had. Take THAT Olive Garden!

Full size
Shockingly, Natalia found the oldest patisserie in the US, which also served dynamite gelato. I swear she has a gift.
