Here's a mixed bag of photos from June and July from my Blackberry. People say that the best camera is the
one that you're carrying.

Full size
We had a get-together in June 2013 in Toronto for some customer training. We managed to take an afternoon at a local golf course
and enjoyed our outing.

Full size
Here is the technically excellent golfer Pat showing us how to drive.

Full size
Carl and I are trying to remain active while we travel for business. Here we are out for a walk around Burnaby Lake during
a business trip to Vancouver in July 2013.

Some of the towers of Burnaby behind Carl.

This is Harminder on the golf course at Gleneagles in Cochrane for the Stampede tournament.

My friend Bert and Harminder at Gleneagles.

Full size
There is a GREAT pie shop in Cochrane that Natalia likes. This is a sour cream lemon pie that is right up her alley.

Full size
This was just before we took my mom and Natalia to the airport for their Ireland/Scotland trip.

Our move to Cochrane

Full size
It turns out that my foosball table was one of the worst items to move. Ask my brother (Mr Sweaty McSweaterson) how tough it was.

Full size
Good times moving large furniture.

Full size
I took Justin out to our local Gleneagles course for Father's Day. While it's a tough track, we enjoyed the day.

Full size
This sign on the golf course made me laugh.

Full size
This is the view from above one of the cooler holes on this course. It drops almost 100 feet from the blue tees to the green.

Full size
During the big flood of June 2013, I took a bike ride out towards Cochrane to see how high the Bow was. You can see how high the river is here.

Full size
This gives a better view of how much water was in the system. The Ghost Dam was mostly open, but you can see how much pressure
is pushing the water through the dam. Had they had to open the other gates (to protect the dam), it would have raised the water level
something like 12 feet in downtown Calgary.

Full size
A decent view of the water course after the dam. These trees would normally be on dry land.

Full size
It actually rained again on the Sunday - June 23, but not as intensely as a few days previous.

Full size
Here is Carl, sitting on his deck, with his new wallet - courtesy of my sister Renee.

Full size
We stopped at Calgary airport to see the Sabans as they made their way to Manitoba. Here are Kirk and Jen and Keira, with new baby
Makenna still ready to go.

Full size
Justin investigating the fence in Swift Current.

Full size
Denis having a look as well.

Full size
We went down to Swift Current for Luc's birthday at the end of June. It happened to also be the weekend of the Canada Day parade,
which Luc was excited about. Here he is sitting on my sister Renee, just outside their house in Swift Current.

Full size
Renee made a really excellent Bob the Builder cake for Luc's birthday.

Full size
Luc wanted to stick his face into the cake, but settled for putting the candles in.

Full size
Justin made a BEAUTIFUL digger for Luc's 3rd birthday. Here is Luc examining it.

Full size
It didn't take him long to figure out how to use it.

Full size
Luc and Renee and Bob the Builder cake.

Full size
Luc playing at one of Swift Current's excellent parks.

Full size
It took a little pushing, but Luc enjoyed the spray park.

Full size
This is a gorgeous mullet at the Olive Garden in Calgary. Who says that only low-class people eat at Olive Garden?

Full size
I thought this was juvenile, although funny. Seen on a van just outside Squamish.

Full size
This is an owl that Karl and I saw in Squamish. There was a mother owl and three baby owls just staring at us on the trails in
Squamish as we mountain biked by. It was actually kind of creepy as they stared at us.

Full size
A better look at the owl.

Full size
I really enjoy taking the ferry to Victoria in the morning from Vancouver, especially when that means I get to have an
awesome breakfast with this kind of view.

Full size
I quite appreciate Carl's leather jacket. This is just as we're moving into our new house.

Full size
Natalia and Donni took a walk outside the cabin we rented in Squamish. This is right along the beach.

Full size
Donni enjoying a stroll in the Howe Sound.

Full size
Natalia, wandering around on the beach near Squamish.

Full size
Natalia and Donni enjoying a little sister time.

Full size
Denis may have also christened my deck.

Full size
The view from my office looking at my new BBQ.

Full size
The view in the morning from the Conrad Kain hut in the Bugaboos.

Full size
I took Carl to see the Grouse Grind, but from the tram. We would later go back for the hike.
