Here are some fun photos from enjoying the mountains in Alberta and BC in August 2012
Hiking on Nihahi Ridge, Elbow River Falls, Alberta
This is the view from the summit of Nihahi Ridge.
I watched some rough weather come in as I was up on top of Nihahi.
A look out to the east and the southeast from the shaly summit.
How nice is this sky? This is what the view back to the park looked like as we were getting back to the car.
Biking the Highwood Pass
I had the extreme pleasure of being able to ride the Highwood Pass again with Louis. It's the strongest hill I ride
I give this ride the Paul Perrault stamp of approval.
Louis and his other friend Paul were my co-riders on this day. We saw a moose, deer, sheep, and a bear.
Golfing at Kananaskis
Here is Justin teeing off on my nemesis hole (I lost another 5 balls on this day). I really enjoy golfing with
Justin as both he and I are pretty relaxed and keep golf from being too stressful.
In the Bugaboos
This is the view from the Pigeon arm of the Bugaboo Glacier. That's Dave and Maya on the glacier.
Climbing on Guide's Rock
Scott convinced us to get a quick 8 pitch climb in after work on Guide's Rock called Aftenrow . This is the
view from the summit. We climbed the route (rated 5.7) in a little under 2 hours, but the rappel and the approach
took us some time.
Camping at Rocky Mountain House
We drank my brother's beer and felt like we had to show our thanks.
