Here are a mixed array of photos from an overwhelming amount of travel through May and
June to Boston, to North Carolina, visiting family in Sask, and camping in the mountains in Alberta.

Full size
Even though a lot of our April was quite warm, May cooled off enough that even trips to the park needed
toques, warm jackets, and mitts mostly. Here's Henry at the orange park showing off his new 'Superman'
swing technique.

Natalia and I decided to plant cotoneasters in the spirit of adding some much-needed privacy to the back of
our property. This was an UGLY work project as the soil was more like clay blocks along with root systems
of garbage of weeds, plugged through the middle with a fence.

Full size
I took Henry for a tour of a new park that is over near Sunrise. Here is one of his friends, Elly, who
was in her mom's womb during Henry's prenatal classes.

Full size
Henry rocking out on a piece of playground equipment in Banff. We decided to take a quick drive to Banff
for the evening one night to enjoy the hot springs. Henry loved it.

Boston photos

Full size
One of my must-stops in Boston is Mike's Pastry Shop. Here is Carl plugging his face with pastry.

Full size
Carl, Dennis, Danny, Paul, and Jim in Boston's North End after another great dinner.

Full size
Danny and I 'flocking' while in Boston. Note the size of the 'yards' of beer.

Full size
Especially note the size of Carl's tiny-girl-sized beer.

Full size
Danny celebrated his birthday on the road with us. One of the waitresses brought him a birthday cake,
and sang him Happy Birthday with the bar staff.

May Long in Cochrane

Video of Henry playing with a bug at the park

Full size
Henry and I on his favourite car ride at Calaway Park.

Full size
You can see that it wasn't the warmest day at Calaway, but we got in nonetheless for more rides and fun.

Full size
We expected rain and definitely got some of it.

Full size
Henry also enjoys the truck ride. I think we counted something like 12 rides that his size toddler can ride.

Full size
It's not May Long Weekend without snow in Cochrane. This snowed actually almost 10 cm even though it
melted by just after lunch. This is why most gardeners in the know don't plant their veggies until after
May Long in southern Alberta.

Full size
Here's Henry eating a full teaspoon of whipped cream and loving it.

Video of Henry shovelling the left-over snow in our yard

Full size
Henry playing with gears at the Science Centre.

Full size
Do you think the Science Centre was full on Monday of May Long Weekend with snow on the ground???

Full size
Henry's a pretty big fan of fish in aquariums. Maybe that's one pet I may concede.

Full size
Henry and his friend playing in the lockers at the Science Centre.

Full size
Why is this a fun activity? I have no idea but they loved it.

Camping with the Piros

Full size
I need to add more photos here, but Henry definitely likes his new picnic table attachment. Mommy loves it
too since it keeps him out of the fire when we're eating.

Full size
Henry has previously discovered marshmallows, but discovered full Smores on this trip. They are a hit.

Full size
Henry loves to sit/stand in my driver's seat, especially on colder mornings waking up in our tent.

Full size
We went back to Calaway the following weekend and it was a bit warmer. I think Henry is actually
afraid of the carousel, even though he's been on it a bunch. This was actually a brief respite from
the pouring rain that came in suddenly after our camping weekend.

Full size
Check out this smile.

Full size
Our little guy loves life.

Full size
This was the first day he had ever rode a swing ride. Thinking that, like most things, if Natalia likes it
then Henry does too, we thought we'd try him on her favourite ride. He was mostly ambivalent. Maybe it'll
grow on him.

Full size
Because it was raining and late day on Sunday, Henry had most rides to himself. He was the only one on
this train and he loved it.

Full size
Here's a happy little dude on the boats.

Greensboro, NC

Full size
Check out this sign on our office in NC. Apparently, if you don't have this sign on the door, anyone can
legally wander around your building packing heat.

Hanging in Sask

Full size
Henry loves to hang out in Grandma G's backyard.

Full size
Here he is topping up the water in her water fountain.

Full size
Here he is using his Paw Patrol backpack to water Mom's plants and shrubs and new trees.

Full size
Along with watering cement.

Video of Henry playing with a dirt pile

Full size
As my mom was cleaning up under her deck, she found a nest. It was a good opportunity for a learning session
about robin's eggs. Henry was quite fascinated. We maybe didn't mention the other 'omelette' eggs...

Full size
Henry eating a yogurt pop and making some kind of point.

Full size
Early stages of potty training involve peeing on trees.

Full size
Here's Henry enjoying some afternoon 'cocktail time'.

Full size
And so are Grandma G and my aunty Deb.

Full size
Henry got to spend time with Grandpa Carl and Wendy as well. This is at Cora's.

Full size
I'm not totally sure what he's doing here but probably about to make a mess or jump on someone.

Full size
Here's Wendy reading Henry a story about jeeps.

Full size
The long trip back to Cochrane with some very quiet passengers.

Full size
As a way to break up the trip, we stopped for some cousin time in Drumheller where my sister Danielle
was camping with her boys. Here are Kale and Henry on a car in the playground.

Full size

Full size
Again with the finger, he has something to say.

I like this photo of Kale and Henry.
