It turns out that the market in Calgary is really hot, so I figured I'd get on the wagon
earlier rather than later and bought a place in Rocky Ridge.
This is the view from the end of the townhouse complex. Not a bad view of the Rockies.
I actually bought the place somewhat blindly, on the recommendation of my buddies Kelly Reitenbach,
and Erik Olson, as well as helpful comments from my realtor. By the time I finally saw it,
I had already bought it. Yes, it was a little unnerving.
There is a little path up to a small green space on the hill above my townhouse.
That's where Natalia is posing.
Some of the condos next door. Natalia makes cute foreground doesn't she?
Here is Natalia lounging in my new living room. That's one of the two fireplaces to her left.
The hardwood is on the main floor, with carpet on the upper level and in the finished basement.
The kitchen is nice with extra pantry space behind Natalia. I'll miss the icemaker for
making drinks though. That's a walkout balcony for the grill at the left of the picture.
The view out the front window, by the fireplace in the earlier shot.
Yowza, check out the fabric on this bedspread! This is the spare room for climbers and skiers.
This will be my new office. I might keep the car bed...
This is the den/bonus room that I'll be turning into an ensuite bathroom. Where Natalia is
looking will be the view from the tub to the mountains. I'm told that listing this place will
be easy with a "mountain view from the tub".
The master bedroom is split in half with this wall that will separate the ensuite as well.
The garage is small, but has some decent workspace.
