Pictures from Danielle's race in Canmore, AB, shots of hiking with Natalia
in Johnston Canyon, my new bathroom, and checking out the Mariners.

Full size
My sister Danielle ran a race in Canmore, AB in September. Natalia and I were driving through and so
we stopped in to say hello and see her start.

Full size
Here is Danielle decked out in her running gear. Did I mention it was 2 deg C that morning?

The start of the race.

Full size
Here is Danielle as she ran past us. It was her first 10K that she broke 1 hour. Congrats Danielle!

Banff National Park 9 Sept 2007

Full size
Natalia and I took a hike up Johnston Canyon, a really well-kept hike in Banff National Park. The
first few kilometres travel right up the canyon, along some platforms that are drilled right into the
canyon walls.

Full size
Natalia, above the canyon.

Full size
Natalia with the creek below her.

Full size
We saw a squirrel on trail that was quite interested in what we were doing.

Full size
The Lower Falls of Johnston Canyon. As you can imagine, this is a major ice climbing destination in the
wintertime.

Full size
Natalia with the lower pool visible behind her.

Full size
The lower falls is accessible via this cave that you squeeze through.

Full size
A nice picture showing the construction of the hiking trail.

Full size
A limestone wall that was seaping like it was going out of style.

Full size
Here Natalia is looking up at the Upper Falls in Johnston Canyon.

Full size
The upper Falls gets two thumbs of approval, mine and Natalia's.

Full size
Once you climb out of the canyon, the trail begins to open up a little more and you can see the area a little clearer.

Full size
Nice shot of me looking across Johnston Creek to see one of the many limsetone peaks in the Castle Junction area.

Full size
Along the trail, Natalia and I found a sweet trail-building machine. Go Nati go!

Full size
A nice 16:9 shot of Miss Lynn looking across the valley. This is where the trail opens up to an alpine meadow,
and comes to the Ink Pots.

Full size
Natalia found a butterfly.

Full size
Close up of the butterfly.

Full size
The Ink Pots are a great lunch spot and this is what we used the terminus of the day hike for. The pots
are mud pots that have spring water bubbling into them changing the colour and chemical composition of the water
all year long. The pots are 5.8 km from the Johnston Canyon trailhead.

Full size
Nice picture of Natalia, the Ink Pots, and the range.

Full size
This crow joined us for lunch. He was a fat one.

Full size
I then took Natalia to her first trip to Lake Louise.

Full size
It's tough to complain about weather like this.

Full size
As much as this is beautiful, I can't wait to see the lake freeze and to go skating on it.

Seattle Mariners game

Full size
Our northwest sales team took an outing to Safeco Field in Seattle, WA to see the Seattle Mariners
play ball. This is my friend Jeritt Kent along with Susan Denini. Steve Ranta, his wife Tiffany, and their son
are intent on the game.

Full size
Steve's youngest son is telling Jeritt he needs to lose the bardufka.

Full size
Steve and Jeritt.

Full size
Dave Dotter got quite excited at the game and had a little dance to celebrate.

Full size
The Mariner's had an amazing come from behind game to win 6-5. We were booing the Oakland A's outfielders
the entire game to the extant that I think the left fielder actually was getting upset.

Full size
This is a post office in Seattle near Safeco Field.

Full size
I thought this sign at the Triangle Pub was entertaining. "Once a brothel, now a landmark."

Full size
Steve and a pyramid.

My new ensuite bathroom

Full size
The frosted glass door going into the bathroom.

Full size
The view looking at my 10 mil glass door into my shower and the custom vanity and mirror.

Full size
My jet tub with two backs, 10 jets, and a view of the Rocky Mountains.

Full size
This shows the 6 heads of my shower. The rain shower is independently temperature and flow controllable,
while the body spray and front head can be both on, or a mix of one or the other.

This is what was above the jetted tub.

This is what's here now. The 26 inch LCD screen also has a DVD player (horizontal mount) on the lower
left side. A few dollars later and I have a spa facility in my home.
