Some photos of the boys hanging out this month.

This is an example of Henry sorting his Lego on the piano. Yes, they do play music on it, but it doubles
as an excellent Lego sorter!

Full size
Here's Henry working on his Hedwig lego.

Full size
For Walter's birthday, he got to walk through Toys 'R Us and pick a few toys (thanks to grandpa Carl and
Wendy and Grandma G). Walter had seen this Fart Gun back in December and still wanted it, so we're
now the proud owner of this Fart Blaster 3000.

Full size
Walter got this wheelbarrow from his friend Brandt.

Full size
My aunty Eileen sent the boys some used cell phones that they quite enjoyed.

Full size
Henry showing off his toothless smile.

Full size
Here's Crazy Carl just before he gets his first COVID shot. After that, he tells his wife, he'll
finally shave and get a haircut.

Full size
Henry was able to get into a mountain bike camp through Bike Cochrane and Walter enjoyed exploring
the space.

Full size
Walter is always so happy to see crocuses.

Full size
Henry with his completed Hedwig project that actually flaps its wings!

We had an electronics work session with Henry in 'online school' this week, so we took apart the
phones my aunt had sent me. Here's Henry with my trinocular scope looking at the memory chip inside a
SIM card.

Full size
Working to take apart an iPhone.

Full size
I have no idea why Walter needed an eye patch to help Mommy with baking, but he did.

Full size
Walter absolutely loves painting, and I can't handle him with paint. So, this is an activity that he
does with Mommy. He's actually quite diligent and keeps it together, until he doesn't. This is a birdhouse
from Natalia's friend Janice.

Full size
We got a bit of spring snow and the boys wanted to sled, but there wasn't quite enough.

Full size
The boys got some sessions at Spray Lakes before they shut down in our third wave. I'm not
sure why Henry insisted on wearing a onesie PJ that day, but he did.

Full size
Walter pushing Henry on the plasma car.

Full size
After Henry's MTB camp, he's a LOT more confident and ready to take on hills. Here he is assessing
the slope into the ravine below our house.

Full size
Walter trying to chase Henry around the ravine.

Full size
This is about the wettest the area will be that we rehabilitated last year in the Ranche House.

Full size
I took Walter to throw some rocks into the river one afternoon, which he loves.

Full size
Happy Walter hanging out near a creek in Cochrane. He was hunting for water worms and water beetles.

Full size
Walter climbed up on this rock and he wanted me to take a picture of him 'for Mommy'.

Full size
I took the boys to the local mini-golf course which they now both have season passes to. It's not like
they're working on skills at all, just hanging out and playing with golf balls somewhere other than
their house.

Full size
Henry was actually the most excited about playing with the golf ball retriever and the extension on it.

Full size
Henry was second-most excited about playing with the 'golf ball vacuum' to collect the balls at the
little driving range.

Full size
Walter found a live earthworm which he was jazzed about.

Full size
The boys with their helmets on, charting a course to the skate park.

Full size
Running around the inside of the skate park.

Full size
More rock-throwing at the river.

Full size
Walter is a pretty happy guy most of the time.

Full size
He says 'I love Cochrane and the Bow River!'

Full size
We went for a family bike ride down to the Ranche House to see our new resident Great Horned Owl
babies (there are three of them).

Full size
Henry was proud that he rode all the way down to the Ranche House. He quite likes his new bike gloves
and wears them with pride.

Full size
Walter refused to bike so he got to ride in the Chariot.

Full size
We next went to the Zoo where Henry got to see a snowy owl (his favourite).

Full size
And whatever Henry likes, Walter likes too.

Full size
The boys riding a bear.

Full size
And watching a peacock during our ice cream break.

Water table party already!

Full size
A shot of a park bench someone has carried to the ER below our house.

Full size
The edge of the town line.

Full size
More trails to build out here maybe?

First Dawn Patrol of 2021

Full size
Graham and I got our first Dawn Patrol of the season and went up Family Guy on a brisk morning.

Full size
A nice look up Canyon Creek.

Full size
We turned around at this point where the snow was still present.

Full size
Graham says 'Boom! Let's get after this downhill ride!'

Full size
This may be my new favourite cartoon, but I'm clearly turning into Calvin's Dad.
