Some photos and videos of the boys in Cochrane this fall.

Full size
Natalia dug her garden carrots and she's showing them off here.

Full size
Henry opening his Hallowe'en package from Nati's godparents and immediately getting into the books.

Full size
Walter says 'WHAT??' What a great book!

Full size
Henry and Walter adding to the window clings with the new ones from Hallowe'en from Janet and Rick.

Full size
Henry 'helped' me change water in the hot tub and accidentally fell into the bottom of the tub with
his clothes on. Needless to say, he thought it was hilarious.

Full size
And then putting stickers on his face before bed. Why you ask? Who knows. That's the life of a 6 year old.

Full size
We zipped out to Maria and John's new place in Canmore for a visit, for lunch, and for a play date.
See Walter LOVING the slide with fresh snow on it.

Full size
Henry and Walter at a Canmore playground with a decent view.

Full size
Henry giving his 'snowman' a ride on the swing.

Full size
Our little pumpkin helping Mommy make cookies.

Full size
Walter with his panda art he made at art class.

Sledding at Wintergreen

Full size
We were invited to join Alf for family sledding time at Wintergreen. Check Walter out here as he will
sled and slide until he's not able to walk anymore.

Full size
Funny little dude.

Full size
Pulling the boys up the hill.

Full size
Walter even carried his own sled back up the hill.

Full size
Walter sliding head first down the hill. He may get into skeleton.

Full size
Walter applying cheese Whiz to his crackers on the way home from Wintergreen.

Full size
Henry drew this on the whiteboard. That's the mini roller coaster from Calaway Park, and it's actually
quite accurate. It's called the 'Mini Express'.

Full size
Taking Walter to outdoor school and taking data on my accelerometer board.

Full size
Ripping around on the sleds by our house.

Walter rolling down the sliding hill

Playing at Ty and Brandt's house

Full size
I made some snow penguins for Brandt and he thought they were pretty cool.

Full size
I can't get enough of Grayson's energy and fun spirit!

Full size
Walter also kicking it on the new sled.

Full size
Who needs more than snow and a bit of a slope to have fun?

Full size
Okay, maybe a cookie makes it better!

Full size
Brandt and his snow penguin.

Henry learns that snowboarding mostly sucks

Henry trying snowboarding 2

Walter jumping off the mini jump

Full size
Walter loves having ice and puddles to jump in.

Walter rocking out to his new Hallowe'en card from Grandma G

Walter dancing to Hallowe'en card

Full size
Henry wearing his crayon costume for the third year in a row.

Full size
Walter also loves his crayon costume, since it's GREEN!

Full size
Great little smile here.

Full size
Henry's grade 1 class in their costumes.

Full size
Walter has these great smirks.

Full size
Walter LOVES this Hallowe'en pumpkin that sings a song when there's motion in the area.

Glenbow Ranch PP

Full size
I took the boys on a short hike to Glenbow since it was so incredibly sunny that morning.

Full size
Other than a little bit of ice on the trails, the area was beautiful and the boys enjoyed checking out
the aspens with curved trunks.

Full size
We found a swan enjoying the last of the unfrozen ponds here.

Full size
Walter was equally excited about a mini excavator.

Full size
Snack time!

Full size
Carving pumpkins at our house. One note for future years is never buy pumpkins that have been
sitting outside (aka Walmart). They will have been frozen at some point and they rot FAST!

Full size
Putting hair on their jack-o'-lattern.

Full size
Our little neighbour Sawyer.

Full size
And with a little smile here too.

Natalia made a sweet candy chute to be socially distanced

Full size
The boys with their costumes, their masks, their jack o' lattern, and Natalia's candy chute.

Full size
I think this snakes and ladders game on the ground at Glenbow school is pretty sweet.

Walter showing me how fast he can run

Full size
Beautiful sunset from Sunset Ridge.

Full size
Walter is enrolled in outdoor school with the good folks at Growing Roots and he LOVES it. Here's a shot
they posted to their social media.

Full size
Look at the happy look on his face with his little friends at outdoor school.

Full size
I had Walter help me with the food processor to make a squash soup. He thought he won the lottery and loved the
sound of it as it shredded.

Full size
So excited.

Full size
I put onion goggles on him when I was chopping onions and he thought they were cool. 'Look at me Dad!'

Full size
After a bunch of kitchen craziness, it was time for playing with bubbles in the sink.

Full size
Wearing his apron from Aunty Sus of course.

Walter going Mach 10 at Turf Time

Full size
Brandt came to join us at Turf Time and loved it.

Walter and Ty running around Turf Time

Walter and Ty playing goal together

Walter laughing demonically

Full size
Walter and Ty on the rollie boards.

Full size
Henry had 'crazy hair day' so we gelled it and painted it.

Full size
I started Walter in learning to skate. His feet hurt so I'm pretty sure they don't fit.

Full size
Walter zipping around the Spray Lakes rec centre.

Full size
Henry wanted to colour the Vegreville egg, but NEEDED to get the exact right colours so we had to pull a
photo from when we went through there.

Full size
A bit more detailed photo of the details from Henry's colouring.

Full size
Walter was so excited to have a full donut from our new bakery.

Full size
We took the boys cross-country skiing just at the Ranche House to remind them that they know how to do it.
Henry actually did pretty well 'staying in the train tracks'.

Henry skiing down the bridge

Walter skiing a few strides

Full size
Walter tried out his skis again too. He maybe covered about ~200m total, but he's trying.

Full size
We finished up our snow outing after a Wendy's baconator and chili cheese fries with some sledding on
the St Tim's hill.

Walter and Henry sledding down the hill together

Natalia sledding down the hill

Full size
Walter is pretty pleased with his goggles courtesy of our buddy Graham. He can dump his whole head in
the snow and he doesn't get cold! He can't see either, but that's secondary.

Full size
The intensity with which Walter does almost anything, including measuring water into cups, is always impressive.
