My side of the family tries to get together in the summer for a 'camping' weekend.
This was the closest to camping we've done in awhile (it's usually cabins), although
everyone other than Grandma G and us were in a trailer this year at Ol' Macdonald's Farm
near Stettler.

First, a shot of Henry enjoying ice cream and mini M and M's.

Full size
Here's the clown show as we're getting ready for a chip supper, sorry 'appetizer' supper.

Full size
Grace, Henry, Kale, and Luc having supper at the 'kid's table'.

Full size
Henry showing me his jello, which he really just licked then played with. Yummy! Grace and Luc are
playing 'Pass' behind Henry, not 'Catch', as the rest of the world would call it.

Video of the kids playing 'Pass'

Luc leading the 'Train' down the slide with the kids.

Grace and Kale at the bottom of the slide.

Aunty Renee holding her godson Walter.

Full size
Henry smiling while riding the slide with Luc and Landon.

Full size
The kids literally ran back and forth to the ladder, then down the slide, for the better part of
an hour. One thing that Ol' Macdonald Farms has going for it is a LOT of playgrounds for the kiddies.

Full size
Henry hiding in a tire tunnel.

Full size
Grandma G bought the kids bug nets. Here's Henry showing us what he found (mostly garbage).

Full size
The second excellent feature of Ol' Macdonald Farms is the amazing beach. The kids had an absolute
blast, the sand is terrific, the water is shallow. Only downside is the ice cream shoppe didn't open
on time. Don't worry, my Mom and Renee let them know about it! Here are Kale and Henry playing in the sand.

Full size
Henry and my Mom having snacks at the beach.

Full size
Landon and Kale enjoying their popcorn twists on the beach.

Full size
Aunty Leah holding Walter at the trailer court.

Full size
Henry and Kale having pink elephant popcorn.

Full size
The third feature that makes Ol' Macdonald great is the vast array of activities that can be done for
a toonie. Here, Henry, Landon, and Kale show their toonies (Dalen gave them each one of Grandma G's toonies
way before I would have) and they're showing their money to prove they still have it. Henry promptly
dropped his between the slats on this deck (and promptly had a meltdown). Thanks to Dalen for lifting up
the deck to get his toonie.

Landon, Kale, Henry, and Luc waiting for the train.

Full size
Two dollars worth of entertainment on the 'Triple Nickel' train. They have a $4 train called the
'Double Dime', but it's quite a different experience. Thanks to Grandma G for bringing two rolls of
toonies to bankroll the activities and the ice cream on this trip.

Full size
The boys in the arcade, which also doubles as a museum, a mini-golf course (indoors), and a candy store.

Full size
Dalen is showing the boys how to catch a dragonfly. He caught it in their bug net, then transferred it to
a plastic cup with Saran Wrap on it, just long enough to show the boys, and then he let it go.

Full size
Grace insists on wearing her helmet with a full cage on it for biking. I think it's awesome.

Full size
Funny photo of Henry peeing next to Renee and Justin's trailer.

Full size
Henry having a 'shower' outside of Denis and Leah's trailer.

Full size
Henry and I on the 'swing', which is only 25 cents!

Full size
A pregnant aunty Danielle pulling Henry and Kale around on the 'octopuses'.

Full size
Henry and Luc playing at the arcades. You can tell that Henry is really 'playing hard' since his
side of the game isn't functional.

Full size
Landon put on this rain suit and boots and he looked hilarious. He looks like he should be operating
the sewer system or something.

Full size
Walter in his 'Happy Camper' outfit along with leggings. Seriously. We're waiting out the storm here
so it's dumping rain around our little 'Happy Camper'.

Full size
My mom brought these ridiculous caped outfits back for her grandsons from Mexico and we finally
convinced them all to put them on. Here's Luc, Landon, Grace as a princess, Henry (not looking), and
Kale as Batman.

Full size
Now with Henry as Batman and Kale as Spiderman.

Full size
Grace and I went to the park for a bit and she tried out the 'horsies'.

Full size
How sweet is this?

Full size
Grace, Henry, and Kale on the slide.

Full size
Grace loves to hold 'THAT BABY'.

Full size
My mom bought Henry and Walter matching outfits.

Full size
Grace and Henry got to have a sleepover the last night we camped. See the video below to see why
it was actually a blessing to not have Henry in our tent on this night.
