Here are some photos from Prince Albert, Kananaskis camping, and Kelowna.

Prince Albert, SK for Family Camping

Full size
This year, our 'Family camping' was actually at my Mom's house in Prince Albert. She hosted a get-together at her
house for her birthday and some of her family came along.

Full size
My mom wanted to take a few family photos so we did. This is just before Grandma dropped Landon since he's such
a squirmy kid.

Full size
You can see that Landon and Luc are having a party on Grandma's knee.

Full size
Here's a nice shot of my Mom, 3 of her sisters (Eileen, Deb, Marlene), and her mom.

Full size
My Aunty Deb set up some 'portrait' shots. Here is my sister Renee and her husband Justin.

Full size
Natalia wore a really cute dress that day and had some not-quite-6 month prego photos taken.

Full size
Another pretty shot of Natalia.

Full size
I call this 'Gazing Wistfully Off into the Distance'.

Full size
I'd call this 'moderately cheesy' but my aunty Deb insisted.

Full size
This is the view from my new office in the new house.

Labour Day Weekend 2013

Full size
Natalia and I decided to participate in the Cochrane Lions Rodeo during the Labour Day weekend. We
arrived just as the little kids were finishing up the sheep-riding event.

Full size
As corny as these types of signs are, they make me laugh everytime.

Full size
And another one!

Full size
An event for Natalia isn't complete without some kind of treat. Can you say 'Pink Lemonade Snowcone'?? This
event definitely needs another viewing, if nothing else because the whole grounds are licensed. This allow you
to stroll the midway with a beer in your hand. Yes!

Kananaskis camping

Full size
After a good day of rodeo-ing, Natalia and I drove into Kananaskis for a hike and an overnight camping date. Here's
Natalia having a great sandwich at the Peninsula picnic site.

Full size
How pretty is this?!

Full size
This is just a little past 6 months prego. Nice work Natalia!

Full size
We decided to go to K-country since my friend Graham was doing the last 'revue' of their summer amphitheatre
events at the Elkwood amphitheatre. Here were the plays they did all summer.

Full size
Since a lot of K country is still damaged from the flooding, we elected for a day hike up to Rawson Lake.
Here's a look at the Upper Kananaskis Lake as we walk around it. What a perfect day!

Full size
I didn't just take this shot to be a creeper. I liked the fact that this family took their kids outside for
a wonderful Labour Day.

Full size
A few km into the hike, the main bridge is out due to the flooding. People used it anyway rather than fording the
Rawson Creek.

Full size
This trail is actually really nicely shaded, which was good for a ~28 deg C day.

Full size
Even though the trail had a bit of steepness to it, Natalia did great. Here's a look at Rawson Lake.

Full size
Isn't Natalia looking great as an expectant mom!

Full size
Natalia had marinated honey mustard chicken earlier in the week and we grilled that up nicely for dinner at
our campground. Yummy! It turns out zucchini is delightful on the grill with some olive oil and salt and pepper.

Full size
Doesn't this look terrific?

Full size
Yummy! Outdoor cooking doesn't ever have to suck. I love car camping sometimes.

Full size
Natalia's really excited here for two reasons: 1) She has nice warm feet in her camp booties, and 2)
She's making popcorn on the grill.

Full size
This was a first for us to try popcorn on the grill. It worked out just fine.

Full size
This is the view of the sun setting in our neighbourhood.

Kelowna touring with Nati

Full size
Natalia and I decided to spend some time in the Okanagan since she loves it there. Here's Natalia looking
for the perfect peach at a farmer's market in Penticton.

Full size
Natalia decided to try on floppy hats after getting sunburned the day before sitting at the pool.

Full size
Natalia is enjoying the shade that her floppy hat provides.

Full size
Since Natalia is now trying to minimize her sugar intake, this frozen lemonade stop was really all about lemons
with no sugar. Look how happy she is!

Full size
Okay, this is at a pawn shop in Penticton and check out this dude's mullet! How gorgeous is that??!!

Full size
Even though Natalia's eating less sweets, Natalia insisted that we stop at Tickleberry's in OK Falls. Here she's
having the one 'sugar-free' ice cream they had, but she's not happy about it.

Full size
What she really wanted was their TEN-SCOOP ice cream! Check out the sign outside the shop.

Full size
Nati and I stopped in to see Tinhorn Creek Winery even though Natalia couldn't sample wine.

Full size
This was Natalia's first visit to the South Okanagan. Here I am with a view looking down to Oliver and
all the way back to Osoyoos.

Full size
Two things we really liked at Tinhorn Creek was the lack of pretentiousness, and the ability to walk around
and taste the grapes they are growing. How much fun is that?

Full size
Natalia's favourite part of the Okanagan is the sun. Here she is enjoying a 'beach and pool' day at our resort -
the Cove Lakeside.

Full size
I had always wanted to try stand-up paddleboarding and I got the chance in Kelowna.

Full size
It's a pretty sweet way to get a bit of a workout while being on the water. I would say that douchebags that
zip by in their motorboats aren't my friends as the stability on one of these guys isn't golden.

Here's Natalia and I out for dinner with Charlie and his wife Terry at the Local Lounge in Summerland.
