Since we couldn't get into Waterton when I was looking in March, I decided to book us
into Lake Louise instead. The boys had their first Lake Louise camping experience, and
we were able to get in on a glacier trip too.

We camped in a really nice loop in the soft-sided camping in Lake Louise. Here we are making supper on
our arrival day. I'm warming up beef in a bun here.

Full size
Henry and I explored the bike trails around the campsite, which were excellent for our age boys.

Full size
National Parks means interpretive shows - this was the 'Pick your Swiss Guide' show and Henry quite liked it.

Back at the campsite, we spent quite a bit of time riding our bikes and hanging out.

Smores time!

Full size
Henry decided he needed to roast his own marshmallow.

Full size
Henry likes marshmallows more than the smores.

Full size
Walter made a lot of progress on his bike on this trip.

Full size
The next day we decided to take a tour up to Lake Louise and we just got the last parking spot before
the lot closed. While the smoke had been bad, it cleared up on this day for some decent views.

I took Walter and Henry for a walk-about when we got back to the campsite and we threw rocks into the
Bow River for a little while.

The next day we took a tour into Yoho to show the boys the spiral tunnels and Tak falls. Here's Henry
at the spiral tunnels turnoff.

Full size
We had the incredible luck (I'd love to say I timed it) to be able to see a train going into and
out of the spiral tunnels at the same time. Here's Henry checking out the downhill side of the tunnels.

Walter got bit by a mosquito and his head swelled up. Thankfully a bit of Benadryl Afterbite dropped
the size of his bites before he turned into Shrek.
