Natalia and I took our first big trip since her surgery, heading down to Oregon to visit with our
friends and to see their new babies.

Full size
First, we stopped at Erath winery, a favourite stop for Natalia. Here we are having a glass of wine on their
patio. Natalia prefers their pinot gris and I like the gewurztraminer.

Full size
Natalia wanted this picture so that she could say, "This is where they bottle my favourite wine!"

An early crop of grapes near the Erath winery. Since Dick Erath sold the winery in 2007, the winery is
actually exclusively reliant on contractors meaning that the Erath winery owns no vineyards at all.

We first went to Corvallis to visit with Jason and Avie. They have recently bought a new house and there
are renovation projects galore. Here is Jason with his safety goggles and mask on as he's applying some
spray foam to seal up the roof. That's Avie's dad Jerry behind Jason.

Porter is trying out both the guitar and the harmonica at the same time.

I thought this table with a map of France on it were pretty interesting and fun. I showed Porter
a few fun French facts and we even sang a French rhyme.

Here is a photo of Zane, Lisa and Jeff's son at about 23 months I think.

Full size
Jeff and I share a love of hoppy, flavourful beers, and this new Cascadian dark ale is no exception.

Full size
Zane is going to be a lady killer for sure. Check out these smiles!

Sunday, we met up with Ross and Kelli for breakfast at Mother's downtown, and then wandered the market
looking for fun things. Ross took this photo for me of me and some of the best beers in Oregon. The
Dead Guy Ale is now available in growlers from my local beer guy.

Full size
We ran into Carl and June and their baby Ava downtown. Here, you can see baby Ava (in Natalia's arms
of course), as well as Ross and Kelli and June. Carl jumped out of the photo at the last minute.

Full size
Our next stop was over at Paul and Allison's, to meet their new baby Tamaya. Here, Allison shows off her
baby, as well as her swaddling skills.

Full size
Natalia, Tamaya, and Allison. This is shortly before Tamaya pooped on Natalia, and as infrequent as
Allison insisted it was, that was the first of 2 people-pooping episodes on the day.

Full size
We also got a chance to see some of my favourite people - the Diskos! Here, Ruby is holding baby
Tamaya. Ruby's already thinking about how to teach wave theory to her.

Full size
Deb and Scarlet joined the party at Tom's Pancake House as well.

Full size
Here are Jordan and I discussing the finer points of robot camel jockeys.

Natalia actually found onion goggles at the Seattle airport. My friend Matt insisted that this product
existed and we finally found it.

Full size
We got a chance to climb and hang out with Keri and Chris and their son Max at Lake Louise after we got
home. Here is Max introducing Natalia to their car.

Here are Chris and I, after a fun afternoon of clipping draws.

This is the winning photograph for Chris and Keri. I have no idea what's inside Max's head.
