Here are a few fun photos from a wedding in Cochrane, camping with Henry in Kananaskis,
along with our travels in our nation's capital.

Henry wasn't having a super photogenic day, but here he is with his mom at the Cochrane Ranchehouse.

Full size
We tried to get a few of the Cochrane Mom's group babies, and of course, Henry lost his mind about
then, since he loves photos in groups so much. Check out the rage on his face! The other kids
are saying, "What's your deal man?"

Natalia, Henry, and I at the Cochrane Ranchehouse, June 14, 2015. We couldn't get a photo without
having a soother to quiet down our monster though.

Full size
Another attempt on baby photos. Again, Henry loses it.

Full size
Henry will sit still for quite a while if you read stories to him. Here is the Little Engine That Could,
a story I can still remember my mom reading us.

Camping in K-country

Full size
So, we decided to give it another run and try camping with Henry again, this time without my
super-tiny backpacking tent. Armed with my mom's gigantic dome tent, we figured Henry would
do better. He definitely loves marshmallows anyway.

Full size
Here's Henry loving corn pops as I'm making breakfast.

Full size
Henry enjoying his yogourt and strawberries. Good call Mommy on bringing a high chair that
attaches to a picnic table!

Here's our cool little monster loving life and hanging out. Toque is courtesy of Mel, U of S bunnyhug

Full size
The first night we didn't need the tarp (second night's a different story...) but Henry enjoyed playing
in his rubber boots all over the campground.

Full size
Thanks Grandma G for introducing Henry to popcorn twists...

Henry at the Canyon campground with the Opal range behind him.

Full size
Henry at Interlakes trailhead, enjoying a picnic lunch. Yummy leftover pizza!

Full size
Carl and Jen joined us for camping and Carl cooked an outstanding rotisserie chicken over charcoal. Yummy!

Full size
Henry in his snowsuit that he slept in.

Full size
An excellent breakfast (bacon, scrambled eggs, and hash browns). Too bad we were freezing and wet...

Full size
Henry wants a coffee!

Full size
Henry really enjoys kicking balls around. It's too early to tell though how un-coordinated he is,
but for now, he likes just being outside.

Full size
Henry and I on Father's Day, 2015. You almost can't tell that he screamed all night due to thunder
and lightning...

Video of Henry playing with an umbrella

Full size
Henry thought the umbrella was another fun implement to play with.

Full size
How happy is this little boy!

Our family goes to Ottawa!

Full size
Since I had some work travel in Ottawa, and we were staying at the Chateau Laurier, Natalia and Henry
decided to join. Here's Henry hanging out on the bed in his diaper. A little bit of St-Hubert chicken
and he'd be all-set!

Full size
The art-deco pool at the Chateau is quite nice, but it needs a hot tub for sure.

Full size
Nice statues and all, but again, no hot tub.

Full size
Henry being a cool dude in the lobby of the Chateau Laurier.

Full size
Henry got to wander around Parliament Hill with us. Although the Centre Block was covered in
stages/scaffolding for the upcoming Canada Day celebrations, here is Henry with the Centennial
Flame and the East Block of Parliament.

Full size
We decided to spend our last afternoon in Ottawa at the Children's Museum in Hull. Henry really liked the
bus heading to Nepal, as the Museum was set up as a tour around the world for kids to explore.

Full size
Henry's driving in Nepal.

Full size
Here's a little Thai moped/bus.

Full size
A small-scale boat was one of Henry's favourite stops. He's steering the boat here.

Full size
Henry riding a camel near the Egyptian pyramids.

Full size
Henry and I playing on the chalkboard. He liked dumping the chalk under the board rather than
use the chalk, but he'll get there.

Full size
Here's Henry swabbing the deck of the boat.

Full size
Look how mischievous he looks here.

Full size
The Children's Museum is inside the old Museum of Civilization (now Museum of History) so we had
to wander around the totem poles. Henry didn't seem to notice. This is the largest display of
totem poles indoors I think in the world.

Full size
Natalia, Henry, and Bill Reid's carving, The Spirit of Haida Gwaii . This is the original
plaster pattern he used to cast the bronze sculpture, which lives at the Canadian embassy in Washington.
Canadians who have used our money will also recall the jade version of this sculpture (from our $20)
which lives in the Vancouver airport.

Henry with the Parliament Centre Block and the Library of Parliament across the Ottawa River.

Full size
Henry loved the play area in the Ottawa airport. Maybe he'll be a pilot!
