Here are a few fnuny stories from the last little while.

When we were in Fort Collins, CO for training in January, we took the opportunity to do a brewery tour of
the storied New Belgium Brewery. Here we are at the start of the tour.

The tile work in the brewery room is simply gorgeous. You can actually see Spongebob Squarepants in here if you look.

Here's Matt K striking a pose.

A working mash tun.

The lauter tun was empty. One of the impressive things about this brewery is their commitment to lower
the water usage of their brewery. It normally takes 5 gallons of water to make 1 gallon of beer, mostly in
cleaning and processing. Here, it takes something like 3.9. So, even before it was fashionable to be
economical and green, these guys were doing it. It also explains how their overall costs are so low,
and why they're profitable and other breweries aren't.

The bottling plant. I couldn't help but be impressed by this one. It's like the Tillamook Cheese
factory tour in Tillamook, OR.

They have a slide to get from one floor to the other. It's right by the foosball table. Pretty awesome, I know.

Full size
Here's the bike they give to all of their 1 year veterans that year so that they can have a 'Fat Tire'.

Full size
Matt bought a patch for his jacket with the fat tire logo on it.

Skiing with Luca at Breckenridge

Full size
Luca took me out to see the great slopes of Breckenridge. They didn't have a pile of snow, but it was
fun just the same.

Full size
Here is Luca after a short hike to the summit of the ski area.

Full size
Here is the wind-swept peak. I hit the chute in the shade here.

Full size
I give this topography (although not the snow) a huge thumbs up.

Full size
The results from our Birkebeiner race. We all finished together although Natalia finished ahead of
me for some reason...

Some funny photos of Erik O skiing on 18 April 2010

Full size
Awwww, buddy, why are you so hunched over?

Full size
Hmm, you just don't look right.

Full size
Oh, THAT'S why!

After a brief nap, he was ready to rock.
