In my spirit of trying to ski 35 days this year, I convinced Jake and Jack to join me for a tour of the
Kootenays. We skied Red and Whitewater and didn't even get stuck in Cancel-gar!

Here is Jake getting off the tiny Air Canada Jazz flight in Cranbrook. He was 'pretty excited' to get some skiing in.

Jake was worried about the roads through the Kootenay Pass. The roads were perfectly clear and nothing to be worried about.

No shortage of mountains near the Kootenay Pass though.

Even though this doesn't do it justice, it was super cool to see the sun over the cloud layer and over Red Mountain.

How cool is this view?

We had dinner in Nelson that night at a cool place called the Outer Clove. Definitely a neat garlic place! I thought the Mona
Lisa of Garlic was pretty cool.

We ran into my friend Paula in Nelson and she skied with us at Whitewater. Here she is after injuring her knee.

The double blacks are a little soft at Whitewater, but the terrain is still pretty fun to ski.

Look at the amount of snow on the sign for the resort. Not bad.

The view coming into Osoyoos. My friend Charlie drove us from Nelson to Kelowna. Not a bad drive with views like this.

A great drink menu at a place called Raudz. Thanks for the great dinner Charlie!

Jake bought me a sweet sticker from Whitewater. I wear it proudly on my helmet. Ullr - the King of Snow.
