Here are some photos and videos from visiting baby Ilsa on the island and also
attending Jen's wedding in Grande Prairie.

First, a video of Henry on his tummy

Here are Ilsa and Henry on a BC flag since it was BC Day when we were there.

Here's Henry trying to be 'protective' I think.

A bit more centred with Henry actually looking at the camera too.

Heading to Grande Prairie for a 'destination' wedding

We overnighted with Nati's sister Susi. Henry quite likes Susi's cat Zova.

I'm not sure the cat was as much of a fan.

It turns out that my son will be more literate than most. Here he is trying to digest (or ingest)
a little bit of this week's news.

Natalia was the matron of honour in Jen and Dan's wedding. I always find it challenging to take good indoor photos
so this was the best I could do.

On the drive back, we elected to go a bit longer and see some new parts of the province. This is taken
at the entrance to the Willmore Wilderness, at an area called Sulphur Gates Rec Area, near Grande Cache.
It's a place where the larger Smoky River connects with the Sulphur River and is quite pretty.

Full size
Here is where the two rivers meet. YOu can see the difference between the siltier Smoky River (on the left)
and the clearer Sulphur River. This area used to be called Hell's Gates.

This rock face looks inviting...

Here's a chart I had never seen before showing the eastern slope fish.
