Some photos and video from Whitefish, MT, on a weekend ski trip in
March 2013 with friends.
My friend Rene joined a crew of people from Calgary in order to get some skiing done
later season at Whitefish, MT. Here's Rene serving up a mimosa to start the day.
One of the cooler things about Whitefish is their higher humidity at higher elevation. A combination
of this and their fog leads to what's called 'Snow Ghosts', or the trees covered in snow. Natalia
is posing with a great view looking down the mountain. It's rare to get the kind of visibility
that we had on this weekend as it's often very foggy.

Adam, Rocky, Michele, Kurt, Rene, and Nathan up at the Summit House, having a pint at lunch.
We watched this guy huck his meat off the deck. Sweet tassles!

Our friend Stacie found Jesus at Whitefish.
Rene injured his groin skiing, so here he is with a bowl of hot mac and cheese to help him out.
Natalia and Kurt enjoying a great day on the backside of Whitefish, going up chair 7. The snow
turned out to be excellent on the back side with a bit of accumulation and some wind sift.
Some photos from my BB
Here is Rocky eating something at the Stube. I'm not completely sure what this is though.
Here's Michele eating smoked oysters. Yuck!
