These are some photos and video of us climbing and hiking in the mountains. This
is both Natalia and Jeanna's first time climbing outdoors and our first time into
the Sheep River area.

So, Natalia, Jeanna Berg, E L, and I took a trip out to Heart Creek to get on some rock
and get the climbing season started. This was both Jeanna and Natalia's first time on real rock.
They both performed admirably. Jeanna is on the left and Natalia is in the front with the red helmet.

E is a great teacher as he literally shows Jeanna the "ropes". Booo, bad joke!

We decided to go check out some slab a little further up from First Rock. The views up to the mountains
were pretty sweet. I like how E's head looks like it's coming out from Natalia's jacket.

Natalia and Jeanna sat in front of us. Here's the back of Natalia's head just about ready to drop
down the big roller coaster.

I snapped a photo as the roller coaster went through the twisty parts. Nice shot E!

E and I made pita pizzas for supper. They turned out awesome!
Hiking in the Sheep River Valley
Full size
We decided to take a short road trip out towards the south of the city and down to the Sheep River
valley. Here are Natalia and E enjoying their picnic at Sheep River Falls.

We went for a little walk aroung the Bighorn Sheep lookout. This is Natalia's way of dealing with
not packing sunscreen.

A beautiful lookout into the Sheep River Wilderness Area. This area is so protected for sheep that they've
actually stopped traveling in the summer time and simply stay here. We saw a herd of 30 or so.

The right side of this seemed almost like Iceland, but the left side of the river valley looks more
like what we're used to seeing.

Here we are practicing for wedding photos.

E set up his hammock at the lookout and enjoyed the sun. He also enjoyed a little bit of the swass
as he exposed some vulnerabilities...
