After COVID restrictions FINALLY lifted in both Alberta and Sask, we took a tour to visit my
Mom and other friends and family in Saskatchewan.

My mom had a lot of pent-up Grandma-ing to do and here are the 'snacks' she had ready for them to
sample when we arrived.

Here are the boys at a candy store in Saskatoon that my mom quite likes that also sells succulents

Natalia and I actually got to go for a date night for the first time in ~7 months. We went to
Hearth in Saskatoon and had a delicious dinner. This is Natalia's lemon pavlova dessert.

Playing at a new playground with a splash park on a hot day. This playground wins for having shade near
the splash park, along with having two paid staff watching the kids from 10-6pm during the week. Seriously.

After spending more than a week in Saskatoon, it was time to head for our next engagement, a visit with
Natalia's family at Elkwater. But, enroute there, we had to see some fun roadside attractions. This was
in Leader where the boys loved the large size wildlife sculptures. Here they are pretending to be owls.

Now, we decided to make a trip out of visiting the Great Sand Hills in southwestern Sask. It's the second
largest sand hills in the prairie province next to the Athabasca Sand hills way up north, but we thought
it would be fun to see.

Our boys wouldn't care if they're on a beach in Maui, a shitty lake in Alberta, or the great sand hills,
they just like to play in sand. Pity their dad is such a stick-in-the-mud and won't get them a sand box.
